Hi welcome back to my blog.
This week the challenge is Bingo.
The set up for bingo is:

Pearls        Image     Flowers
Ribbon        Pins        Image
White       Charm       Pink
So basically you do a straight line across the bingo card, either diagonal or up and down or vertical.
Pretty straight forward, just like a real bingo card.
I did mine vertical in the middle of the bingo card. So my 3 were image, Pins and charm
I made my own pin for this challenge as well, just to do something a bit different. You can buy beads and the straight pins at the local craft store. You just put together a design that you like,  I used glossy accents to glue the bottom on. It worked great and its held very well.
The image that I have used is from Whimsy stamps by Crissy Armstrong called Free Ride. I thought this would be a fitting image for a birthday card.
You should jump over to the Whimsy Inspires blog to check out the other Dt's wonderful creations as well. Hope you get some inspiration along the way.

A closer look at my push pin that I made. Easy and fun to do.

Supplies: Whimsy digi image Free Ride, Spellbinder Label Eight, Bazzill cardstock, Copic markers, Ribbon, Blue Moon Charm.

Hi,  hope your day is wonderful.
Doing things that make you happy - that you enjoy. The sun is shining here, bit of wind though. I wish that would go away, but a good day none the less.
I made this card for my Neice's birthday, I seen this image from Magnolia and fell in love with it.  I had envisioned the colors as soon as I seen it. Purple and green.
I used copic markers to color it, no patterned paper on my card. I don't think that it really needed any. I wanted my image to really pop.
I used Spellbinders : Floral Ovals and an accent piece out of the Antique Frame and accent spellbinder.

A closer look at the Magnolia stamp called Lillyrose the Dragon stamp.

The sentiment is from Stampendous. This is a closer look at the accent piece from Spellbinder Antique Frames and Accents. I foam squared the sentiment up and attatched the scroll pieces to it to help accent the sentiment.

Supplies: Magnolia stamp, Spellbinders, Copic markers, Distress ink, ribbon, Martha Stewart edge punch, bling, Bazzill cardstock.

Thank you for stopping by, Have a great day.
 See you next time.

Challenge: Vintage/Shabby Chic May 23

I can hardly believe that we are almost finished the month of May WOW.
This week the weather is suppose to be mostly rain, so I guess it will be a good week to work on some craft stuff and inside house stuff etc. We do need the rain, last week they had a fire ban because it was so dry so this will help with that and to green things up.
This weeks challenge at Whimsy is Shabby Chic
So I picked the image from Whimsy Stamps fromStampart called Full Bloom. I also added flowers and crystals from Whimsy Stamps. They come in different colors, I love the size of the flowers they are a great size for cards. I used punches for the corners and a number of spellbinders for the sentiment area. I also foam squared it up to give it lots of layers.  This card is my first shabby chic anything, I hope that you will try to make something shabby chic if you do you should add it to Whimsy's inspiration challenge blog for a chance to win some really wonderful digital stamps. If you decide not to add your card at least click here and jump over to the Whimsy blog and maybe get some great ideas from the Dt team.
Hope to see your image on the blog.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look, hope to see you next week.

May 9 Challenge: Make it Pop

Hi well this week the challenge with Whimsy is Make it pop.
To me you can either make it pop up or just make your image stand out, you know pop.
I did both for this card. I thought that I would do something in honor of summer, the weather here has been really nice. Just makes me get very excited for the great temperatures, barbeques, going for walks with my dogs and well the beach or the lake.
This adorable image is called Beach Babe by Crissy from Whimsy Stamps.
I love it, I made the image pop using the bright pail and shovel colors.
I thought I would use some different colors with this card, I think the purple and green go well together. Well you should check out the other DT's cards at the Whimsy inspires blog and enter a card for a chance to win some free digis. They are great and very easy to use, I hope to see your card on this weeks challenge. If not then I'm really glad you decided to pop by my blog. I hope you'll come back and visit soon.
Thanks for stopping by, have a super wonderful day.

Hi welcome back!
Not sure if you were here yesterday and looked or just decided to participate in the digi hop . If you haven't you still have from today till the 8 of May to.There are some really great ideas on the Dt's cards.
Well it's wednesday again, seems like you hit a certain age and the days seem to fly by. Wow, I don' t really want to admit it but  I think I've hit that age cause there just aren't enough hours in the day, days in the week. I never seem to get everything done that I have planned in my head, you are probably the same way.
Now I've added the fact that my computer had to be laid to rest a few days ago. It decided to just turn black and quit working. So now I have to learn to do everything again, plus trying to reload all my programs. And it all looks different , going to be a major learning curve. It may take a bit but I will get there, it will just take time. Well enough of my big boring dilemma on to more important fun things.
Like making cards and being creative, this is the card that I have made for Whimsy Inspires
 challenge: Spots an Dots.
I used this image from Lia Stampz from Whimsy Stamps  called:Ice Cream Love. Thought this was a fun cheerful image.

The spots on this card I made using a bunch of different circle punches with matching colors to my image. I just layered them and made it look like paper. It was fun and really easy to do.

Supplies: Lia Stampz Ice Cream Love from Whimsy Stamps, Copic markers, Various circle punches, ribbon, spellbinder, distress ink & Bazzill cardstock.
